A testament to this is our collaboration with an Italian leader in the digital communication sector, which began nearly 10 years ago. What started as a new supplier relationship has evolved into a solid partnership over time, built on values such as reliability and professionalism.
We have contributed with a team of expert analysts and developers supporting the Research & Development department to improve the efficiency of the services offered and develop new features.
One of the most challenging tasks was the transition from Adobe Flex to HTML5 for User Interfaces, where we played a key role in the first mixed teams of Flex and HTML5 experts.
In recent years, we have provided support for the creation of a new version of the system, offering greater flexibility, scalability, and service availability. This version is designed based on the API-first technology paradigm and relies on an innovative architecture incorporating containers, microservices, and cloud-native technologies.

maintenance and evolution of existing projects
For an Italian leader in the document management sector, we took over the maintenance and development of a Document Management Web Application that allows companies and organizations to efficiently and securely manage protocols and document archives.
The project, which originated many years ago, was still functional, although it required some technological updates. However, through an assessment of the features and technologies used, it was possible to take over the maintenance and evolution of the system.
One of the challenges overcome was the acquisition of skills and experience on Google App Engine, a fully managed serverless platform for developing and hosting large-scale web applications, and the Google Services APIs, which were necessary to display users and groups from the user's Google domain, access the user's contacts, manage background tasks such as protocol saving, and handle data hosted on Google App Engine Datastore.
New features were developed, and existing ones were improved to retain existing users and acquire new ones. The collaboration is ongoing, and the number of companies and associations served continues to grow.

Video Streaming Platform
For Low Latency Events
Altèreos has collaborated with several clients by providing its innovative video streaming platform, designed to broadcast live events to tens of thousands of concurrent users. The platform demonstrated its versatility by hosting both medical and institutional conferences, where accuracy and interactivity were crucial, as well as sporting events, where streaming speed and quality provided an engaging experience for fans.
Thanks to a scalable architecture and the use of advanced technologies, we ensured low-latency streaming, which was essential to maintain interaction and real-time synchronization. Additionally, the integration of a secure paywall system allowed for the monetization of paid events, expanding revenue opportunities for our clients.
The interface was customized for each event and optimized for both desktop and mobile devices, with features such as live chat and access management for private events.
Along with the platform, we provided production support for managing over 20 audio/video channels simultaneously.
